What this solves

Money is lost between the sale and the payment

01Today

Invoices with the wrong tax head, payments recorded against the wrong bill and advances nobody remembers. The result is GST notices, disputes with customers and dues that grow unnoticed.

02In MatruOS

MatruOS makes the GST invoice from the customer and the items, records every payment against the bill it settles and keeps each customer's balance current.

03What changes

Invoices are right the first time, you always know who owes what, and collections start on the due date.

What changes for an export invoice

The buyer's currencyBill in US dollars or the currency the buyer pays in, with the exchange rate shown on the invoice.
Place of supply 96The place of supply is set to 96, the code for a supply outside India, so the tax head is IGST.
IGST without a LUTIf no Letter of Undertaking is on file, the invoice charges IGST, as the law requires for that case.
A prompt to add your LUTWhen no Letter of Undertaking is on file, MatruOS shows where to add one.

One set of records for home and abroad

Export invoices sit in the same series and the same customer records as your domestic sales. The export desk works in the same system as everyone else, so nothing has to be pieced together at year end.

Before you ship

MatruOS makes the export invoice. Your CA or customs broker handles shipping bills and bank realisation from it.

Questions

Questions people ask

What does place of supply 96 mean?

In GST, 96 is the state code used for a supply to a place outside India. MatruOS sets it on export invoices so the supply is treated as inter-state, with IGST.

Can I export without charging IGST?

Exporters with a valid Letter of Undertaking can supply without paying IGST. While no LUT is on file, MatruOS charges IGST and shows you where to add one.

Which currencies can I bill in?

You choose the currency the buyer pays in, such as US dollars, and enter the exchange rate on the invoice.
