What this solves

What a bidi contractor deals with today, and what MatruOS sets up for it

01Today

Branch shortage deductions for leaf and tobacco used above norm come as a surprise each Saturday. Roller-wise counts kept in a notebook; weekly pay list takes the writer a full day.

02In MatruOS

MatruOS sets up 8 routines, 2 workflows, 3 registers and 4 licences for a bidi contractor, with an AI team that reads your own records and prepares the work.

03What changes

The right person is reminded at the right time, approvals wait for whoever decides, and every licence has a renewal reminder. Anything that sends, pays, signs, files or deletes waits for a person's approval.

Credit and cash

Branch settles weekly on Saturday for bidis accepted that week; contractor pays rollers weekly and gives advances (Rs 500-5,000) for festivals, illness and weddings, recovered from later wages

Contractor carries 1 week of roller wages and the advances book. A week's branch payment for 300 rollers at 4,000 bidis each is about Rs 2.5-3.5 lakh in wages, paid through him. A bad week of rejections or shortage deductions comes straight out of his commission.
